We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch so do come along and try us out.

You can attend two training sessions for free before you decide to join the club for the first time. Get in touch with kmsecretary@outlook.com to check if there is space or a waiting list. Please state the DoB and School Year of the interested child so we can route you to the correct team or waiting list.

If you decide to join, you can choose to come to training only or to also play in matches.

All our teams are in the Pioneer Youth League with teams from around South Devon. Matches are on Sunday mornings with some gaps/weeks off. Please be aware that your child may not play every minute or every match - some of our larger squads substitute children throughout the games to ensure everyone has the chance to play and develop at a pace appropriate to their level. We usually play each team twice – home and away. The furthest distance to travel is about an hour to teams in say Torquay, Kingsteinton etc. Many parents organise car-share or a lift rota so parents don’t have to go to every away match, although it’s great to support your kids and share the highs and lows! Coaches do not arrange lifts or take players other than their own children. Details of fixtures are provided to parents by the coaches.

Code of Conduct & KM United Club Policies

We pride ourselves on the respectful, sporting behaviour of our coaches, players and parents/supporters. When you join, both children and parents are acknowledging they have read and will abide by the KM United Code of Conduct Policies.

Any fines or charge notices received from the League or FA as a result of player or parent misconduct must be paid by the parent themselves. This includes all fines related to misconduct, yellow or red cards and non adherence to the club or FA Codes of Conduct.

Fees

Annual Membership is £150 per player for u8 to u17 Teams

KM Utd Juniors (u6 & u7) is £105 per year (£35 paid per term)

KM Utd Girls is pay as you go monthly

Fees for u8 to u17 cover training sessions, training kit, matches, match kit (on long term loan to be handed back when you leave or outgrow it), KM United club membership and registration with the Pioneer Youth League or DJM League and the Devon FA. Fees also contribute to the running costs of the club and player injury insurance. Your team coach gives their time to the team voluntarily/unpaid along with committee members.

SIGNING UP?

FIRST, check with the coach of the team that your child wishes to join or kmsecretary@outlook.com that the age group are taking players into their squad and arrange your two taster sessions with them.

NEXT, If there is space for your player then complete our four-step process below. If there is not any space in the team, then your child will be added to a waiting list.

Note: - If you are registering your child with the Juniors or Girls football then Step 2 is not required, only Step 1, 3 & 4 are needed to join.

STEP 1: COMPLETE OUR ONLINE FORM

We will provide the FA with the data you enter on the KM registration form so please ensure everything is accurate.
You will be required to acknowledge that you and your child(ren) have read, understood and will uphold the KM United Code of Conduct

STEP 2: PROVIDE AN UP-TO-DATE PHOTO & ID (Required for all NEW players)

An up to date portrait photo is required for NEW players to be registered with the league. This forms part of the league ID Card.
ID verification is also required for NEW players not previously registered.

STEP 3: Accept the KM United invite from Spond & download the App

Accept the Spond invite you will receive from KM United via email, SMS or App notification to join the team group
Please check email “junk folders” if you don’t receive it with a couple of days
You will receive an invite per child per team
Create a spond account using the email address you provided to KM United (via the spond App or web at www.spond.com) and verify your account (an email will be received from spond to verify)
Once accepted you should see the appropriate groups for your player(s), events and notification within the spond app when you next login

STEP 4: Pay the KM Utd Membership Fee Invoices via Spond

The invoices will be received by email or App notification
Invoices due will also show in the payments section of the Spond App.
Please check email “junk folders” if you don’t receive it within a couple of days
The invoice can be paid via card or applepay
Once the invoices are paid your player will become an active member of KM United for the season and will be able to: -
- be registered with the FA and the League (if appropriate)
- receive invites to events from the team coach.
Invoices that are not paid by the required deadline will result in the player being removed from the team and the waiting list will be approached to fill the space.
