Due to popular demand we have two teams in this age group! Newcomers are welcome throughout the year - please see our information on joining.
The coaches take training and oversee their teams at matches, assisted by other parents. The coaches will also confirm details of training and matches to parents each week so make sure they have your contact details and keep in touch with them.
Training is on Saturday mornings (coaches confirm directly with parents each week) on the grass pitches in Malborough. Later in the year we move to the KCC astro turf when the pitches are too wet and then back to Malborough after Easter.
The teams play in the Pioneer Youth League with both ‘home’ and ‘away’ games. Games are usually seven-a-side with plenty of substitution.
Parents need to take their children or arrange transport for away matches and we have found that a band of supporters and car share with other team members can be fun! Many families make a day of it, exploring new places after the match.
You can of course choose to do Saturday training only.
