Our committee includes long-standing members and newer parents who all have the interests of the players and club at heart. We are all volunteers and undertake a variety of jobs to ensure the club runs smoothly to our constitution and the standards set by the FA.
We usually meet every 2 months to discuss current issues and future plans. We are continually looking at any improvements we can make. In recent years the club has gone from strength to strength:
We have built a great clubhouse in Malborough
Our numbers are increasing year on year and reached 200 players in 2017
We have record numbers of juniors attending
We have received additional professional coaching support from the Devon FA
Local sponsorship has funded new match kit
We have raised funds to buy major equipment, including new goals
We ran FA courses to train 30 coaches, assistants and parent-helpers in safe-guarding and first-aid
We can’t do it all on our own so please lend your support whenever you can by volunteering to put up goals, join in work parties (rewarded with free bacon rolls!) and join in our fundraising activities.
If there’s anything you’d like to discuss or have any concerns then please contact one of the committee below.
And if you’d like to join the committee then we’d really welcome your input.
All our coaches are also committee members - their details are on the team pages.
