COMMITTEE

Our committee includes long-standing members and newer parents who all have the interests of the players and club at heart. We are all volunteers and undertake a variety of jobs to ensure the club runs smoothly to our constitution and the standards set by the FA.

We usually meet every 2 months to discuss current issues and future plans. We are continually looking at any improvements we can make. In recent years the club has gone from strength to strength:

  • We have built a great clubhouse in Malborough and have the finest grass pitches around

  • Our numbers are increasing year on year and reached their highest ever at 280+ players in 2023

  • We have record numbers of juniors attending

  • We have a dedicated Girls section and are fielding our first ever Girls team in 2023-2024

  • We have received additional professional coaching support from the Devon FA

  • Local sponsorship has funded new match kit

  • We have raised funds to buy major equipment, including new goals

  • We ran FA courses to train 50 coaches, assistants and parent-helpers in safe-guarding and first-aid

We can’t do it all on our own so please lend your support whenever you can by volunteering to put up goals, join in work parties (rewarded with free bacon rolls!) and join in our fundraising activities.

If there’s anything you’d like to discuss or have any concerns then please contact one of the committee below.

And if you’d like to join the committee then we’d really welcome your input.

All our coaches are invited to attend committee meetings
